Happy October Akwaaba friends,
I missed last week’s edition because I was busy producing THIS PIECE, which is my all-time favorite on the topic of Creator Economy. I hope you’ve read it and liked it 😄 If you haven’t, I hope you give it a chance this week 😇
I’ll remix the order of this week’s edition, please tell me if you like it or not ✌️
💌 Life Update
I’m getting obsessed with Latin Pop :) You can listen to my favorite song from my favorite artist here :)
I experienced Sai Gon’s flood for the first time. It wasn’t fun 🙃
I hosted 2 workshops and spoke at an event for a total of 500+ humans in the span of 1 week. That was crazy. What’s crazier is when I’m writing online, I’m putting myself in front of 50,000+ people. That’s like filling My Dinh stadium, and still having a 10,000-people party outside. Wild!
📢 Announcement:
Last call for aspiring bloggers who want to kickstart and/or elevate their writing journey.
Writing On The Net #4 is closing admission in exactly 2 weeks from today.
If you sign up in the last 2 weeks, you’ll get a bonus 80-page ebook that breaks down my writing system 🙌
💡 1 Idea From Me
You’ve seen the Creator to Creative ladder up there, here’s another piece that I wrote this week, it’s called “Bắt đầu thì dễ. Duy trì mới khó.”
🌟 Good Stuff I Consumed This Week
Blog A third way of marketing → I rethink how to grow and build connections on the Internet (and in life)
Blog The Six Communal Advantages → Does a problem need to be solved socially with a community, or all you need is a blog post? It’s about when you should build a community.
Video So does private equity own everything? Good Work funny investigative journaling style is incredible. I don’t even care about this question before watching this video. And it’s so mind-blowing :)
Goo Work reminds me of this important lesson from Dan Koe:
It’s not that people won’t be interested in your other interests.
It’s that you don’t know how to make your interests interesting to other people.
A good teacher/persuader/communicator can make ANYTHING interesting to almost EVERYONE.
That’s all this week! Thank you! 💖
I’m always grateful for your attention. You could have given it to anything and you chose to invest it with me.
Cheers,
Akwaaba Tung
