The best leader is not the "coolest" person in a team. The best leader is the person whose simple existence brings the best out of everyone.

The best leader can be cool, but she is never consumed by her coolness. She is more interested in tapping into other people's coolness.

The best leader creates an environment in which everyone feels confident and worthy because the collective coolness of an inspired group of people is always greater than one cool person.

So don't follow a leader just because she’s "cool" or "admirable". Follow a leader because she brings the best out of you.
