Is this the right decision?
Many of us are too obsessed with making THE “right” decision: the right school, the right friend group, the right career, the right husband or wife... So much that we forget what will make it THE right decision is the action that follows.
Choose the right school but you don’t go to class and it’s the wrong school. Choose the right career but you don’t try to upskill and it’s the wrong career. Choose the right spouse but you never invest time or energy and it’s the wrong marriage.
Life isn’t determined by one single decision. It’s determined by an infinite amount of consecutive decisions, big and small. Most of which you haven’t even made.
So in the grand scheme of things, you don’t make THE “right” decision. You make a decision. Then you make it right.
The question becomes: “How much effort do you wanna put in, to make that happen?”
